Vicki has recently returned to the Blue Mountains after being in Central Australia and the ACT for seven years. She has a B.A. in Visual Arts, is a practicing artist, and has exhibited in Katoomba, Sydney, Alice Springs, and most recently in New York. Vicki has had many years of teaching experience and the workshops being offered here are designed to enhance your observation skills, develop your painting through an emphasis on composition and colour, and to be both challenging and enjoyable.

In the still life workshop you will enter another world where the calm, intimate forms of fruit, flowers and patterns will encourage you to self expression, the knowledge of spatial relationships and the ‘feel’ of inanimate objects.

The self-portrait workshop allows you to tackle this fascinating subject matter, one which has been used by artists for centuries and in Australia, culminates each year in The Archibald Prize. Remember to bring a good, clear photo of yourself or a mirror.

Beginners and the more advanced are equally welcome and the choice of oils or acrylics is yours.
Morning tea will be provided. Bring a plate to share for lunch.
