Life Drawing Group

This friendly and long established group meets each Friday morning from 10.00 till 12.30.

We stop midway for a cuppa and a chat. New members are always welcome. Easels, donkeys or tables are supplied, just bring along your backing board and art materials. All odourless drawing mediums may be used. This is a tutor-less peer group who meet all year, with a 6 week break each Christmas.

The weekly fee to cover model cost and room use is $15 for 2010. This weekly fee is only paid on actual days attended, eg. no term fees.

After the first week at life drawing, BMCAC annual membership of $50 is required. We are a sub-group of the Blue Mountains Creative Art Centre, located at the corner of Hare and Moore Streets, Glenbrook.

Becoming a "Glenbrook Life Drawing Group" member entitles you to participate in both the annual Life Drawing Group Exhibition and the BMCAC Members Exhibition. It entitles you to a discount of your art supplies from some stores. You will also receive the Centre's monthly magazine, "Creations", which is full of art news and events. The centre's exhibition room is available for your use. Members may also have their work for sale at our gallery and gift shop, which is open Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 - 2.30.
